We are thinking of starting potty training for our little bookey. He has started letting us know he peed or pooped but only if we ask. So we are try to get him to just let us know he peed or pooped . He’ll grab himself right now if he peed and goes in the corner to poop. We were thinking about trying the 3 day potty training at 19 months

Yes he's 18mo and we have started. He has gone a few times but Def a work in progress.

Son will be 18 months in a week. We were going to wait until 2 years, however, he HATES getting his diaper changed and it is such a struggle every time. We are thinking this is a sign, it’s time to start? I know the diaper change struggle is pretty normal for toddlers this age, but it’s something we’d rather would put an end to sooner than later

I plan on starting at 20 months old! Currently reading about it!

We started ec at 6mo and he hasn’t pooped in a diaper since. Whenever we let him roam without a diaper on he usually goes to the potty when he has to pee but we haven’t officially started potty training. Thinking about possibly starting at the end of the month or next month.

@Ana Moore what are you reading?

We've started but he doesn't like sitting on it too long since he's a whirlwind active child lol well get there eventually

At some point , I'll probably get a travel attachment for the big toilet and teach him slowly with that method, since what I've read is that you want to train bowels first, so for peeing you teach them to pee sitting down.... Then do standing peeing later on .... Since number 2 is more the focus .... But currently there are bigger things for me to focus on ( two dogs, need to pack, working on business things.... Prepping for tax time to have everything together to email to the accountant of hand off to him.... So I'll need to put documents in folders.... )

He's still not walking yet.... So just general work on his development... Is higher priority

Plus we will be moving at some point.... So I should work on packing but that's hard to do with an active toddler

We introduced the potty. It just hangs out in the bathroom.

My girl is 17 months and going strong on using the potty. She started to let me know when her diaper was wet. To now letting me know she has to potty.
