Also this is helpful, it’s the popularity of top 100 names ☺️ https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/livebirths/bulletins/babynamesenglandandwales/2023
@Becky she said partner..x
I’m also finding it difficult to find boy names my partner likes🙄 We’re not telling family the name until he’s born anyway because my mum seems to think she has a say in it 😂
@Kirsty god I can’t read I swear it said parent 🤦♀️ In which case we just made lists and unless one of us hated a name it stayed put. We both changed our minds so many times before he was born.
We chose an old fashioned name that isn't super popular and it is definitely like marmite! Sometimes I get some looks but if an elderly person hears it they say how strong it is 😂. But it took until 1 week before he was born before we actually decided one we liked!
@Zoe I love the old fashioned names but my fiancé says it sounds like an old man name.. my response is usually well he’s gonna be an old man at some point 😂
This vid is so lovely congratulations to your little family. I think both of you should make a list of ten names and then work them down from there take hates and really don’t like off each others and see what you’ve got left x
We used an app called "baby names" you basically swipe left and right on names and it tells you if you both swiped on the same name!
Congratulations 🥳 and what about stop, teddy, Jaxon, Elijah just some ideas x
There’s an app called Kinder which you and your partner can connect with and you swipe left for names you don’t like, right for ones you like (I’m guessing like Tinder lol) and then it matches names with your partner xx
U said unusual names you don't hear, I don't want anymore kids so hear r mine: Riven Forest Oren Lake Lucien Spencer
We’ve got a Cameron, not too common 🥰
Congratulations! Why does it matter if your parents like it? We didn’t tell anyone the name of our boy till he was born. If you both like a name and are happy with it then stick with it. Much harder for people to make comments once baby is born and named!
