They did me the same way come to find out i missed the phone appointment. They don’t tell you until later tho. Go up to the office and they will let your case worker know and reach out to you asap. And they will cover any charges 3 months back once you’re approved.
I got approved slow as well!!! I’m from Chicago but I never canceled mine . I still have it because Georgia is bogus. They took my Wic and didn’t approve me for CAPS! I was waiting 3 months just for them to deny me. TRY CALLING the public health department or going up there !
I can't even get Medicaid in GA they won't approve me 😒 Had it in NY & SC.
@Deanna if they denied you, you can go to grady hospital & get a grady card which covers you just like medicaid. The only way to qualify is if you got denied for Medicaid you have to show proof.
Go to the public health center near you
Go to the gnr center closest to you and apply in person it’s instant there it’s valid up to they turn 1 and you’d just have to renew if you still needed help and your income hasn’t changed
