Early Scan Nerves

I’m currently 10weeks + 3days pregnant and I caved yesterday and booked an early scan for Sunday. I’ve felt relatively calm up until I booked the scan however, now I feel full of nerves. Our last pregnancy ended in a MMC with the early scan itself being one of the most horrific experiences for me and my partner. I’ve not had any pain or bleeding (other than the odd normal cramps) but I’m just terrified we’re going to get there and something is going to be wrong, or there’s no baby (ridiculous I know). I’ve had to talk myself out of going to buy another test. Does anyone have any advice to calm the nerves?

I know exactly how you’re feeling ! I did the exact same thing. Waiting for the scan day to come is much worse than before it was booked. My advice is to distract yourself, visit friends family while you wait have things planned. Also write down your pregnancy symptoms (this helps remind me that I’m pregnant until I’m told that I’m not). Also if you’re a Christian (if not ignore) faith and fear require the same amount from you, you have to pick faith sometimes !
