Putting the car seat in the front?

Doing a long journey by myself tomorrow with the little one for the first time. She recently started to like car rides again but I’m worried she will have a meltdown. Would it be safer to put her in the front with me and turn off the passenger airbag? Just wondering what are people’s opinion on having the little one in the front, is it as safe? ☺️

Following! I might need to do this at the end of the month

I have to put LO in the front as my car is tiny so the seat wouldn’t fit in the back. It is obviously safer in the back but the benefit of having them in the front is you can help put dummy back in/calm them easier. As long as you have air bags turned off it’s safe xx

I thought it was the law to put them in the back. But I could be wrong 😊 xx

@Kirsty no it’s not law just advised, I had to check myself before putting him in my car ☺️xx

As long as the airbags are off it’s perfectly safe and legal for them to be in the front. Just make sure you have good clearance to see out of your wing mirror
