Teat size

How to know when to change test size? Currently using mam size 1, my boy is 3 weeks and past few days has been taking awhile to finish it, sometimes it takes him ages to even get an ounce. He also seems to be feeding a lot more so unsure if he’s getting fed up during the feed and stopping which is then resulting in being hungry quicker so that’s why he’s feeding more..? Unsure… any advice please?

Following as I’m having a similar issue

We use tommee tippee bottles but changed to size 2 teats - medium flow at 3 ish weeks because she was getting angry at the bottle and falling asleep - she's now 6 weeks and working a lot better it's worth just trying it to see if it works better

My girl is 2 weeks tomorrow and already on size 2 MAM teats! She was struggling to feed well with size 1, she been on size 2 for a good couple days and is feeding much better and finishing bottles easier and is more satisfied!

You can only try. You might find size 2 comes out too quickly. My 2 week old is still on size 0. Every baby is different. X

My 8weeks still on size 1 as size 2 made her chocked

My 8 week old is on mam size 1’s. We’ve tried 2’s but the flow is a lot faster than 1’s and she tends to choke/cough as she feeds quite aggressively 😅 you could try size 2 to see if it works, however I’d definitely have your 1’s sterilised and ready to go just in case he’s not ready yet ❤️
