I am nearly 14 weeks and have bought lots of stuff ! Whenever you want mamma!

I’m exactly the same, 12 weeks, there are seem to be discounts everywhere atm and I don’t know whether to start or not 🫣🤣

I’m 16W and We’ve just bought our nursery furniture because there’s huge sales on so why not!!x

We've bought our Tommee Tippee machine as it was £60 off 😂

@P oh nice where from ?

I would get a list together and start buying a few bits every month, especially if it’s your first there’s so many bits you need. & don’t buy loads clothes you can always get more if needed 😊 & people always tend to get you them as presents

@Lucinda I'm sure my husband ordered it from either Boots or Amazon x

I’m 13 weeks and I’ve bought loads! Do what you feel is right for you, don’t let anyone tell you different! X

I’m an absolute loser and used the nhs list of things you would need for a baby as well as my own research on essential items and created a little excel spreadsheet at 13 weeks. I stated buying bits last week at 14 weeks.

We just bought two pieces of clothing after our scan, I am 14 weeks. Not going to buy much more until we can find out the gender in 2 weeks time but we have a lot coming to us from family as apparently my nan has been collecting stuff for years so has a wardrobe full and my niece is turning 2 next month so my sister in law is giving us a lot of stuff. It’s completely up to you when you want to start buying items :) I think buying a few every month to spread the costs is a good plan and there are also a lot of sales on at the moment. I saw someone mention mamas and papas have a good sale and you can do their appointment service to put a deposit down on items and pay in full when it’s delivered closer to the time.

i’m 12 weeks currently, choosing to wait till i know my baby’s gender! but it’s completely up to you!

Just do whatever feels right for you, I got a baby grow set at 7 weeks to share the news with family but waited until a couple weeks later to start getting more, 15 weeks now and have just accumulated crap lol, if there's sales on then why not, save the extra pennies

I’ve been collecting baby bits since before I was pregnant 🤣🤭 14 weeks now and we have pram ordered and most clothes from 0-6 months. Last pregnancy I didn’t start shopping until after 20 week scan and it was absolutely fine that way too x

We’ve started buying some clothes as we just found out the gender, and a few bits from Aldi that we’ll need soonest (bottle brush, changing mat etc) - I’m 15w3d. We are taking advantage of the baby events on atm but apparently more are on throughout the year too. We are holding off on prams and more expensive stuff until at least 20w but I have friends that bought from as early as 8w!

I waited until after my baby shower. I got SO much stuff, I hardly had to buy anything myself x

@Pia how do you know when you have a baby shower 🙈

@Lucinda You can plan your baby shower to be for whenever you like, I had mine a month before I was due. But I know people who have had theirs at 4 and 6 months pregnant. You can have one when it suits you ❤️
