Britax romer dualfix plus car seat

Hey everyone! Just looking for some clarification, I’m currently looking at the britax romer dualfix plus for my newly 1 year old! He currently between the 9 and 25th for his weight and I’m unsure on his height. But I’m not sure if it is SPT. I know as it’s a 360 that they can outgrow them quickly

It is !!! I was told it is a few months ago so I’ve got it for my son. I love it so far

No it’s not, get the swingfix which is rear facing only but also not tested. However the swingfix would pass if it was tested x

@Justina oh amazing!!! I’ve searched the whole of the internet all day and just couldn’t seem to find anything about it. Oh I’m glad you love it, might have to purchase it myself thank you x

@Kiera well I’m in the car seat safety group on facebook and I was encouraged to buy because it is Swedish tested . Idk

Any seat that can forward face isn’t Swedish plus tested. Only rear facing seats can.

@Megan I’ve just checked mine and it’s the dualfix m plus . Not sure if it’s the same one or there’s any difference !!!

@Kiera oh really! Isn’t it crazy how some of there car seats are but some aren’t! I was looking at the spin kid too as I know that is! X

@Justina the Dualfix isn’t as it can be turned forward x

@Kiera thank you. I feel lied to now lol

@Justina you probably were if it’s the group I’m thinking of 😂 anything for a sale!

Oh thank you so much lovelies! That’s the end of that then😂 I use to be in groups on Facebook but come of social media so now using this for advice😂! I’ll keep looking

As long as he’s below the 50th for height and weight, you can have basically any seat, you have the below options around the same budget as the dualfix. Britax swingfix RF Axkid minikid 2 RF Joie stages RF/FF Joie everystage R129 RF/FF Cybex sirona gi RF/FF Avionaut Aerofix RF/FF Avionaut sky smart RF These are all roughly the same price as the dualfix, up to £300. I have the be safe izi twist (SPT) which is slightly more expensive but spins side to side, reclines, isofix etc. Same as the swingfix and sirona really. The Avionaut sky smart is great for a smaller car. Uses tethers. Both joies are bulky but seatbelt only install. Axkid minikid 2 is seatbelt and tethers but is a good seat. Hope this helps xx You’re also local to me, Cheshire ERF is in Crewe and super helpful with ERF seats but she’s by appointment only xx

@Emily I’m sure it is what you’re talking about. They said in the group before that the britax is a safe seat then they run out of stock and started saying it wasn’t safe anymore because they didn’t have any to sell😂😂🙈🙈

@Kiera oh that’s only about a hour away from us! I spent last night researching and have seen one which is the axkid spin kid and that’s spins to 180. Im probably not going to get him a ff until he’s at least 4 so we don’t mind changing again in a few years x

@Megan I can vouch for Cheshire ERF, Gemma is absolutely lovely! I went to visit her for appointment and I’m so glad I did as the car seat I wanted didn’t end up fitting in my car
