We were definitely in this situation. We removed all potty, travel pottys, pottys at nursery....etc it this hugely helped. Our issue was hand dryers too. He wouldnt even go near a public toliet due to noise. x
@Kelly we have the same the potty shaped like the toilet. I also have the steps from my Carry and the seat. This morning we took the potty to try getting him to use the big toilet, he held it in all morning from 8am until 12pm and had an accident at his nanas because he wouldn’t go on the big toilet. We usually use the my carry when out and about and I even took it to nursery but I was so worried he would use it at nursery then we would never get him onto the big toilet at nursery. Feel like I’m going to be potty training all over again
@Amy we’ve taken them all away this morning and last night. He held it all morning from 8am-12pm to the point he’s had an accident at his Nanas. Feel like we are potty training all over again.
My son is also fully potty trained and did so quite easily, and he sometimes uses the big toilet but other times his own - we have a potty shaped like a toilet that we have in the bathroom so he calls it his own toilet anyway! We bought some steps and a toilet seat from My Carry Potty for him to use on the big one which he does like, but I’m not pushing it when we’re at home. When we’re out we have a portable toilet seat so he can use the big ones which he seems to like!
