I think it depends on how expensive it is tbh 😂 we went to a sea life centre when ours was 4 months, he enjoyed looking at the fish but it was something around £25pp for the adults and we didn’t spend that long there/didn’t feel worth it, but we had a little local aquarium that is about £3-4 and he spent as long there at the same age and enjoyed it just as much!
@Liv thanks that's good to know!
@Rebekah see it's not cheap but my partner and I love it too so I don't think it would be a waste!
I took my son to sea life around 6 weeks old, he looked around. I took him to the aquarium for his 1st birthday and he loved it at that age
We went to The Deep when my son was a few months old. The ticket lasts for a year so you can revisit and under 2s are free. We just went last weekend and he's just over 2 now. They have a picnic area in the deep so you can take your own food. There's a cafe too.
Under 3s are free sorry
I wish we had a good aquarium nearby in landlocked Alberta, I would happily have taken my newborn!
@Nicole thank you!
@Joanne oh brilliant thank you!
@Christie aw that's so precious 🥰
@Melissa tbf it's a bit of a trek for us but my partner and I love it so it's worth it!
We took little one to the deep at 5 weeks and obviously she had no clue but we loved getting out the house, they do a thing where if you pay once you get an annual pass for free so we thought we’d go back. We went back when she was just over 7 months and she loved it, she spent most of it being carried looking at the fish, she loved the lights and there was one part we could put her down on the floor in a kids projection game thing and she liked crawling about on that. They had awesome puppets in the gift shop, and she still sleeps with the penguin puppet we got her. Beware though, you have to pay for parking there!
@Amber thanks, that sounds lovely! Thanks for the parking tip!
Yep I just go because I’m invited by friends but at that age they love the colors and watching the fishies.

Take her my little girl loves it there we took her for the first time at around that age. Plus once you've bought a ticket you can go as many times as you want in the year
@Kath thank you!
Only way to find out is to try 😊 we went at around 9 months and he was and continues to be obsessed. We have to take him to the petshop every week since to get his fix!
My sister took my nephew at just under 3 and he was absolutely mesmerised i took my daughter at 1 and she did not care x
@Zara that's adorable 😍
@Fay I guess they're all different!!
I took my daughter to the sealife centre around that age and she was obsessed, it’s such a sensory experience. We go every year now haha x
