Can’t remember exactly 3/4 months

I want to assume you mean monitor and if so for both our kids we used it right away tbh

My little one turns 2 months tomorrow and I want to start using it but my partner is worried that his still to young

@anastasia why would he be too young? Why is there an age limit to monitor your baby? lol

@Tabbi I don't no but my partner thinks he is

@anastasia that’s crazy I wonder what his reasoning would be, I say do it 🩷 it could save your child’s life being able to watch him/monitor him, it did mine

Straight away. It meant being able to put her down safely in her cot and go do things like make some food or get a shower and know if she woke up so I could be there immediately. Wouldn’t have thought to get one so soon but I received it as a gift and it’s honestly been the most useful thing for me

Do you mean monitor to leave asleep in another room? My LO is 3months and I’m trying to move her bedtime earlier but that also means I have to go to my room then so wondering about cameras and monitors etc just got those couple of hours

UK guidelines are to have the baby sleep in the same room as you for the first 6months, so it was after that x

@Rachel I think that can be understood in the context of sleep training for example where some parents choose for their baby to sleep in a totally different room from birth. The idea being that a baby needs to be seen, if not at least heard so they can be responded to x

@Epiphany for us our kids stayed in our room for at least the 1st year, even then we used monitors cuz we would be in the living room or den and not be able to hear them. I feel it also depends on your house & how far away everything is

@Tabbi my LO is only 7 weeks but we plan for her to stay in the room with us and are in no hurry for her to leave 😊 we cosleep as well as using a cot. Much of the time we contact nap but use the monitor from time to time so I can see and hear her while she’s safely sleeping in her cot when I’m downstairs. It’s been totally invaluable for me

@Epiphany awe! Sounds like baby has an amazing mom & dad, also I peeped your profile and you’re gorgeous!

6 months when baby went into own room

My baby is 11 weeks old but goes to bed now between 7/8 so I put the monitor on so me and my partner can chill downstairs and we just keep an eye on her through that! Also useful in the morning if I’m up before up I can get on with some jobs and wait for her to wake up
