independent play!
hi how long does your LO play independently? my son won’t wants me to hold his hand and walk everywhere, if he does play with his toys he expects me to be there or he won’t play with it. he is constantly bored and whines if i leave him in his play pen even if it’s to step away to grab something for 30 seconds! HELP ! how do i encourage independent play and for how long for is it possible for them to play on their own?

Honestly no clue, my boy would climb back up my vag if he had a choice... he's that clingy.
Some days he’ll play for ages other days I can’t even set him down

It depends on their personalities. My eldest preferred independent play whereas, my youngest follows me around like a little lost lamb😅 The only time, I'd prefer for her to play on her own is if I've got things that I need to do. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the hugs👶🏼
