I can hear everything, especially when my LO breathes heavily
We have the Nanit and it comes with a free breathing band and free subscription to that part of it for a whole year! Started using it with my first when we moved him to his own room and it really gave me peace of mind. Got a second one for this baby
Just out of curiosity - when are you planning to move your LO to own room? I'm the same, checking his breathing regularly, and we decided not to move him to his own room until he's at least 1 year old. Might even prolong it, we'll see how we get on.
@Allie this sounds perfect! Is the breathing band something the baby has to wear at night? @Nina I don't think we'll do it until at least 8 months as we haven't got a 2nd room setup just yet but I do hear it makes the baby sleep better when transferred so have been thinking about it from 6 months x
Following this as I’d love to know which is best too. I didn’t really want one that has to be put on him like a band or the sock though. But I’m not sure how reliable the ones with the breathing pads (I think angel care do one) in the mattress are 🤔 x
@Incog yep I would just put it around his sleeping bag! It’s small so only used it the first month or so after moving him into his own room but it made me feel so much better
Second the Nanit x
I am the EXACT same x I wake up to put my hand on my little lady's chest
