Holding bottle - Mam Brand

Trying to assist LO l, 8 months old, with holding the bottle with the handles; instead they decide to, either 1. Once lid’s back on shake it holding of one of them. 2. Holds but not tipped enough so that the teet’s full with the milk. 3. Allows me to hold it. Is there specific steps for them to learn how to hold the bottle themselves?

Mine never wanted to even though she knew how. I think I just have a lazy baby. 🤣 My friend's kid on the other hand would rip it out of your hands and angrily eat with the most aggressive look on her face.

I’ve found using a skinny bottle helps! We switched to like a cheaper bottle these ones are Tommie tippie and if he’s laying down he can feed himself!

@Susanna mine holds the bottle around 4 months by herself. I stared with putting her hand and hold round the bottle with her. Think she just wants to take control lol I bought her the right hand side one but she never likes holding handle so only used for a few times

@Wai Yan Michelle he’ll hold and then shake it until he looses the grip and it flies to the other side of the room 🙄

We’re now 10 and a half months he can hold his own bottle just refuses I suppose it’s a comfort thing for them ! Having their mummas feed them
