Oh, just read your full message
What about small plastic cups and just keep the water amount half or less?
I'm still trying to get him slowly introduced to whole milk ( we quit combi feeding, but he still nurses.... But my supply is struggling to keep up )
i would say to just cut the bottles cold turkey, store them away. eventually they will learn that they have to just drink from a straw cup. any straw cup will do but maybe a cool fun one with their fave character on it. like bluey, spiderman, mickey mouse? but my fave straw cup is grosmimi one. for cup suggestions, i really love the munchkin 360 cups! https://a.co/d/7C0QlTz
We love our munchkin weighted straw cup bottles. ( The pediatric dentist actually said she doesn't like the 360 cups as anything other than as an open cup trainer... So a step towards open cup )
Use dr. Browns sippy spout nipples. They can be attached with regular bottles. It is like making them used to sipping . Your baby may not like the flat nipples at first but mine did got used to it. Gradually once they learn sipping it easy to transition into straw cups. https://a.co/d/4E1rlEj
@Elizabeth i like them because they’re leak proof (not so much when it gets dropped hard) but still love it. my son does well with an open cup also so he’s not always drinking from a straw or the 360.
I guess maybe for occasional use maybe? But my " other sister" said they were great until her son figured out how to take the gasket off.... I feel like Ayden is smart enough to try that sooner rather than later
I would try the 360 cups
Thank you all for suggestions ❤️ We have the 360 cups and he’s not a fan unfortunately(
This insulated water bottle has a straw, push-button lid, and keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours - a great pick for active kids. Others are loving it! https://a.co/d/f3BNvXe maybe this?
Use the Nuk sippy cups
This is what what for us for milk. The milk was so hard to clean from some of the no spill straw cups/bottles. Water I use different kind of straw cups/water bottles. https://a.co/d/d0L27YK
We went straight to straw bottles.... But if you've never used straws, maybe honey bear straw bottles, then munchkin weighted straw cup bottles
