Pee!

Please someone help me because this is driving me CRAZY!!! So we are potty training, going no diaper. Sometimes when my toddler has an accident (specifically when she pees on the floor) she will get down and slurp it up or at least try to before I can stop her. It is literally making me insane and stressing me out which may seem a little silly 😂 but no matter what I try she will not stop doing it! Im going to ask the Ped at her next appt but I’m just wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with this or have any suggestions on what I could try. I read somewhere it might be a vitamin deficiency.

Don’t give it any attention when she does this. My son tries to be silly all the time and does things just to get a funny reaction out of us. Next time she does it just walk away and clean it up after she’s also walked away. It might take a few times which I know isn’t great but I’m sure she’ll stop when she sees you don’t care. Kids just look for reactions. I doubt it has anything to do with a vitamin deficiency but it’s always a good idea to talk to your pediatrician if something is worrying you

Another suggestion is have her clean it up? Like, have towels and stuff ready so when it happens you can immediately jump on it and ask her to help?

Kids love attention especially when you react if you pay it no attention and just ignore it I’ll get boring and she’ll stop reactions like getting frustrated etc is hilarious to toddlers my niece be pulling my hair and throwing things and start laughing as soon as she gets a reaction

@Kyla She was doing this at first on her own. When she would have an accident she’d go get a towel and clean it. This is new behavior 😩
