Don’t be nervous, it’s likely just to help you decide if you want an elective c section this time.
It will be to discuss delivery, as you will be encouraged to have a csection...I was told as I've been consultant led both pregnancies (for different reasons) if I had another after 4th degree tear which happened with my 2nd baby, I'd be encouraged to have a c section as the risk to muscle damage and incontinence later in life.
Thank you girls. I’ve come back from my appointment and feel abit ‘hmm’ doesn’t help I can’t read the writing of the drs notes in my book lol. She said vaginal delivery is ok for me still as I had a 3A tear and no complications afterwards but due to me warming to a home birth she said it’s a risk just incase I do tear the same or worse & a c section will only be advised if baby measuring big of if there’s a concern of mine or baby’s health. Although she did make me feel like I didn’t control breathing his head out and that’s why I tore when I tore cause he had his hand under his chin, so I’m confused and might request my birth notes xx
Ive seen a consultant with both my pregnancies so far and due to see consultant again. Mine was due to health reasons not tears. They will literally just go through your options ect and decide the best plan for you xx
