@Gabrielle I breastfeed
Then there’s not much to bring. If you are going without dad then bring a note saying you’re allowed to fly with baby and without dad. And bring babies birth certificate. Other than that maybe a couple toys for baby but at that he they won’t do much. Bring a stroller and a carrier. Stroller can hold baby or bags if you are wearing baby. Stroller is nice to hold an infant car seat then you can gate check them
The younger the baby, the easier they are to fly with. At 2 months they usually just sleep
My 3 month old has now been on 6 flights without baby issues, just him and I. I change his diaper right before boarding and start feeding him as soon as we get to our seat, he falls asleep before take off. I check in our luggage with the exception of his diaper bag. My carrier and Doona have been super helpful
Just got back from a trip to Prague with my 2mo old and we had a blast! I would say less is more as the added baggage can become an unnecessary burden esp if breast feeding you already have half of what you need on you I’d say as long as you have a good couple of outfit changes in case of emergency and maybe 1-2 books/ toys you should be good to go (and ofc plenty of diapers and wipes xx)
Do you breastfeed or formula?
