*also just to say, I know it’s very early, I’m not expecting her to be fully potty trained, just want to introduce it so she gets used to it

I have sat my baby on a potty since she was about 6 months old. It’s fab 😊 as long as someone notices she needs to go, she almost exclusively poos in the potty now. I couldn’t tell you the last time I had to change a poo nappy. She will also usually wee every time I sit her on it, but still has plenty of wet nappies too. I basically sit her on it every time I change her and if I notice her farting/straining 😂 Honestly my top parenting hack

I'm starting my 3 year old next month. We're gonna be introducing more a routine with my 1 year old too. She's been using the potty since 6 weeks when we're home. She signs for it and I notice her signals. We do occasionally miss but she's still a baby. Look into potty training courses, websites, books etc to prepare yourself and your little one of you are going to introduce it. Also to teach something consistency is sooooo important so make sure everyone involved is ready and follows your plan. We done the big little feelings course, read the oh crap book, read the Eric website, the Sarah ockwell-smiths potty training book, done a course at our local family hub. We've been reading books to the kids, playing games involving racing to pottys, aiming poop toys into pottys, putting clothes on and off, touching wet and dry things, role playing with teddys and listening to the poop tonie every night

100% with Jennie, we started sitting our boy at 8 months, we always have poop on the potty unless we miss him straining.
