Group strep b

Has anyone got this tested positive for it. She said I've got a slight water infection but is this something I will always have or will the antibiotics get rid of it forever?

I tested positive for group strep b and you will have to have antibiotics for strep b when your in labour so it won’t be passed on to the baby, but regarding the water infection they will give you tablets to take and then check your urine again x

@Hollie aw okay thank you so does that mean I'll always test positive for it or will it just come and go? X

I tested positive after I birthed my Son back in 2022. Pregnant again I think I’ve been advised that I’ll be monitored closer to the time x

I’m not sure if you will always test positive for it and you can only get it when your pregnant x

I had strep b my 2nd pregnancy, didn’t have it my 3rd. They make you stay a little longer in the hospital on antibiotics if you have it.

Thanks guys appreciate yous responses 🤗 x
