Double pram or not?

My little boy will be 3 when baby is born but he's currently getting extra support to see if he has autism and isn't safe for him to walk to nursery so debating if I should get a double pram or just get a wearable carrier for baby ?

Id get a second hand double personally! We got pregnant 10 months pp and i didnt want to buy new again so have found some good options on Facebook and Vinted! Ive also seen a specific brand (TFK) is good for older toddler ages!

Maybe get something like the bugaboo donkey that can be altered between a single and double! I’m getting that because when it’s a single it has a pouch that will fit my tiny dog 🤣 and then when my partner has our 2nd baby we can use it as a double pram too xx

The baby jogger city mini GT prams come in doubles and are plenty big enough for a 3 year old not sure if you can get a carrycot for one side

We got one (my eldest was 22 months when her sister was born) and we’ve probably used it once or twice. Find it too big and heavy, we even fitted a wider back door for it 😩😆 Not as comfortable (especially for the baby) as the single icandy pram. They both seem to hate it. This was a brand new out n about nipper. We got a buggy board with seat to go on the back of the icandy and the toddler loves that, it’s her ‘motorbike’!

I’ve bought a momcozy baby carrier this time (never used one with our first) because I’m also not sure whether to get a double buggy or not. Our son will be 3 the month after baby is born and I’m stuck. In my head right now I think I might just stick with our Ickle bubba buggy from our first and get a buggy board or something to attach and can alternate from that and using my boys stroller (if he still uses it by then) and have the baby in the carrier. Obviously depending on what the day entails and my partner is with me none of this will even be an issue with 2 sets of hands to push 2 separate buggies/strollers😂
