Lost my pram, my car was stolen!

My car was stolen last night which had my nuna pram and car seat in it amongst much more things. I now need a new pram but I don’t have money to fork out another nuna! Can you recommend strollers for a tall 20month old 99percentile please! Any affordable recommendations would be great! This will be an everyday pram, travel, shopping etc and my baby boy likes sitting higher up so would be a plus. I’m so gutted :( Thank you

I’m so sorry! It’s so annoying that people do such horrible things! Try looking on facebook marketplace for the nuna - you could find a 2nd hand for a decent price.

@Jenny it’s just disgusting behaviour! I’m really upset about this all. I checked fb marketplace but they are not selling much cheaper in my area. Any other brands or suggestions? X

I don’t blame you. We have enough on our plates as it is. I use a baby zen yoyo. It works really great for me for travel and everyday and my baby is tall and in the 90+ percentile. It’s more compact but great and they also sell quite a lot on marketplace. Good luck!

We got our bugaboo bee on ebay (we did collection as we had family in the area so made a day of it). Perviously bought a brand new Icandy peach 7 when he was born but was so bulky especially when he was walking and pushing the buggy. personally hated the look of the bee so didn’t want to spend loads (as i already has a travel pram which i hated but my partner was so againts buying a third pram lol) The bee ticked all the boxes as its lightweight but also all terrain so perfect for dog walks so gambled on it and payed off. Car seat look at ukbaby centre as they do pay monthly so spreads the cost as a good one can also cost. People can be awful- sending you a big hug x

Check your car insurance! They usually cover replacement seat.

I personally wouldn’t recommend the babyzen yo-yo. It works fine with newborns, but the toddler seat is horrible. Doesn’t sit up very upright and doesn’t lie flat.

We have the Nuna triv next now which we love. It a tad pricey, but I’ve seen a joie stroller that looks very similar. I’ll post a link.

@Tina can’t fix the lay flat bit but we got a £3 strap off Etsy to make our yoyo sit up super straight, there’s tons of mods online like extenders and tray tables ☺️

@Sarah yup, we did the same with ours, we put a belt around the back to pull the chair more upright. But then it’s a pain when they are tired and you want recliner them a bit 😂.

@Tina thank you! I loved my nuna but I can’t fork out the money again. So gutted. x

@Tina my boy is too big for this I’ve tried before x

@Sarah thank you! They do cover car seat thank god !!

@Rachel thank you darling, I have seen the bee too, I just feel so gutted because it’s another expense I really don’t need!
