Our trip to colorado advice

Hi moms, We’re planning a trip to Colorado in mid-February, and it’ll be our first time experiencing snow and cold weather as a family! Our son will be 15 months old, and our daughter will be 2.5 months old by then. We’re considering going to Winter Park Ski Resort, so I’d love your advice! Need your advise for our little ones, please share your tips and must-haves. Also, if you have any pictures of recommended winter gear (especially for the kids), I’d really appreciate it! Like shoes, hats, gloves, snow suit, etc... my son will probably be in the activities as he is walking now :) also if there are places there where we can rent stuff as we are coming from a hot climate and probably will only use these stuff once.. we will be in Littleton. Looking forward to your suggestions 😊

So make sure you have chapstick, lots of water, sunscreen, warm clothes, and snow boots. Also, just to forewarn you, altitude sickness is a thing, and it sucks. It is very dry out here

I love the Baby Weather app! It helps you dress your little one 🙂

If you aren’t actually going to ski, I wouldn’t go to winter park 👀 there is a cute town area but not much else to do besides ski. You should just come to the springs! We have Garden of the Gods, the pikes peak cog (train that takes you up a mountain), the North Pole (Christmas theme park with Santa all year long), manitou springs(cute historic town), old Colorado city(cute historic area), probably more I am forgetting…

Oooooo if you are set on going way in the mountains. Grand lake is the cutest city ever. It is so kid friendly. And right by the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park!

@Jessi i checked it thank you looks great the thing is we will be staying in Littleton colorado so its like 2.5 hrs far
