Opinions?

My daughter’s 2.5 and we started potty training 2 weeks ago and she was doing brilliant on the potty. She goes to nursery for 5 hours a day twice a week and she has come home today with fresh pants on, a nappy and knickers over the top of the nappy. When dad picked her up they said she’s been using the potty, didn’t mention anything about an accident but said she seems constipated as she’s been dancing around (dad didn’t know what trousers she had on to be able to ask). I feel abit annoyed at the fact they’ve put a nappy on as she’s only been wearing a nappy for bed and she’s been doing brilliant at home without one on, what are peoples opinions? Should i say something or let it slide?

Yes I’d definitely complain as they should have communicated with you first and you don’t want it happening going forward, especially if she has been doing well with potty training

@Jess Thought it was me just over reacting but she won’t do anything in the nappy anymore which meant as soon as we took it off she had 2 massive wee’s one in the potty and another downstairs in her pants so i think she was holding it because it was like Niagara falls 🙈 Just takes away all the hard work we’ve done these past 2 weeks

Oh no!! Yeah I also worry I overthink these situations but definitely complain if it’s caused her to hold it in 🙂‍↔️ it’s such hard work potty training and you don’t want to move back on any progress! We’ve been in a similar situation where they sent my daughter home in a nappy but it was confusion in the team and it didn’t happen again after I mentioned it 🤞
