Axxkid minikid is a fabulous seat no need to replace until they are 6ish when they will be safe to use a booster. If they have grown out of an infant carrier at 7 months they are likely to be higher percentile i am guessing, so popular highstreet seats only harness to 18kg, which many higher percentile children outgrow at 3 or 4 years old, which will mean you either booster seat way before they meet all safety criteria (its sadly legal but really not safe at all to use a booster at this age) or you will end up vuying an extended harness seat at that point so its worth cutting out the extra spending now! Also they are tested to the best standards on the market, many carseats meet legal limits but dont test very rigourously.

definitely recommend joining bump to booster car seat group on facebook , if you don’t have fb then i would research extended rear facing seats like axkid , be safe , some britax models aswell x
