Has anyone taken their baby abroad yet? Looking for advice on location? What stroller to take? And whether I need to take a car seat?

We’re driving/catching the ferry to the south of France in June and I’ve not even begun to think about all of this 😵‍💫 I’m more worried about sleeping arrangements as we’re renting a lodge for two weeks… my LG loves to sleep in her own room in her cot but she’ll be bunking up with us whilst away which could be v interesting 😅 I do know that I want to buy a lightweight and compact stroller to take, we’re still using the oyster 3 but it’s quite bulky… so following for stroller suggestions! 🙋🏻‍♀️

No need for a car seat (unless you travel by car). A very light stroller is recommended. Scandinavia and the Netherlands and Germany/Switzerland are the most child-friendly, it's really easy there with little kids. Greece is a nightmare because there are no pavements. Paris also not easy because the underground only has stairs. Italy is usually ok-ish and people love children.

We have been abroad a lot, mostly to my parents house in Estonia but also to Portugal and Netherlands. If you’re going somewhere were you don’t have family waiting definitely take the car seat. We were caught out in Portugal having to have baby loose in the taxi 😫 I have the YO-YO so very useful for layovers as it fits to the overhead

we have a cosatto yo travel stroller it’s cabin approved so we took it on the plane with us with easyjet too :) x
