Do I need to change bottles? If so what brand does everyone recommend

Hey so my baby has started to make a massive fuss during his feeds I’m currently using tommee tippee bottles I’ve change the teets to the leave 2 teets and he still makes a fuss. He won’t latch on to the bottle for long I’ve even tried the advanced anti colic bottle but still won’t latch for long. He’s not got tongue tie either. I don’t know test to do

Try mam bottles x

Sounds werid, how old? As our LG did this for a week and turned out she was going through a developmental leap & lots of people reported the same thing. We are still using same bottles now. We tried MAM and she hated them. But every baby is different my LO is now 5 months. :) x

@Paige-Louise he is 5 weeks old xx

Tommee tippee teets are quite big, my son never got on with them so had to change to MAM in the end, they are different shape so might be better x

@Kaitlyn ahh we were 12 weeks!! Give MAM a go? They Jsut weren’t for us. Maybe see if any friends or family or someone online selling them just to try before buying the whole system! X

@Paige-Louise I will do thank you xx

Weve had some reflux with our little one and when I mentioned to our midwife she asked about bottles - apparently Tommee Tippy ones are known to be bad for it. Apparently the flow is too slow which frustrates baby and means they take in air. She said she swears by Dr Browns bottles. Baby is still fussy in the evening but definitely less so since swapping xx

I had the same issue with Tommie tiippe & it made me so sad bc I loved the model of it lol Dr brown or Avent fixed my same issues 4 years ago now lol

Mam and Tommee Tippee were soooo bad for us. We changed to Dr Browns bottles (glass only as plastic ones leak microplastics) and honestly it was a life changer for colic, but no idea about the latching really! Have you checked for a lip tie? My baby has a lip tie?

I did exactly this, used the Tommee Tippee bottles, changed the teats used the anticolic ones and natural start, and my little one just could not get on with them, he was sick all the time etc, switched to MAM bottles and I’ve had 0 problems since, best thing I ever did! Would 100% recommend them, but all babies are different 🫶🏼

@Parris no lip tie never actually crossed my mind I’ll have to check thank you xx

@Jade a few people have recommended the mam bottles I’ve got a few different bottles on the way so hopefully we find one that’s right for him xx

Fingers crossed for you lovely xx

@Jade thank you
