Pushchair/car seat systems

Hi! I’m trying to be a bit organised and trying to make the most of some of the January sales to get the important stuff. It’s so overwhelming and confusing though! It seems simplest to buy a 3in1 type system with car seat, lie flat pram part then a more upright seat for when they get a bit older. Ideally I want to be able to get something reasonably priced but sturdy enough that I can use it for future babies also. Does anyone have any advice on brands/ systems to go for or avoid? There seems to be massive price differences for a 3 in 1 ranging from about £200 to £1000 and I can’t really tell the difference! Thanks so much in advance. Xx

Check out car seat safety uk on Facebook they have a list of the best car seats for newborns, sometimes it is better to buy the car seat separately so you know you have a well tested seat 😊 ( you can get adapters so it can fit on different brands of prams) our system is a maxi cosi very sturdy 2 years later still looks like new very minimal wear and tear 😊

I’ve got a bugaboo system second hand in excellent condition. I Was originally looking at getting an ickle bubba pram system but read the reviews and they weren’t very recommended. However whenever ive been to the hospital for appointments I’ve seen alot of people with the redkite pram which I believe is available on Amazon so maybe a good idea to look at them

I have one of the Joie travel systems and all my car seats are Joie always been really happy with them. We have just brought the Joie double stroller as well. I have tried Ickle bubba once and was constantly having the seat replaced. Wasn’t good for chin to chest and also screws coming out from the isofix base that I didn’t realise until I took the seat out the car to clean. X

I like the ickle bubba as it has solid wide wheels. Car seat - I was going to get one separately maybe one that twists When I've been looking I've been checking the wheels, how heavy it is and what age it goes up to

I found a shop around half hour away from me and they sell brand new, fully cleaned second hand and ex display. We got an ex display with a few scratches for a few hundred less than retail price. Extra money off for January too 👌🏻 I’ve noticed you’re in Birmingham, I’m Tamworth and this shop was in Burton on Trent called Bambino’s and beyond. Search them on Facebook they put a lot on there ☺️ x

I loved my ickle bubba travel system first baby so have kept to use again this time.
