Baby carrier

Hi I've been looking at carrier (is it too early for shopping?) And I love the Momcozy leopard print one but it only faces inwards. I've seen a similar one called Bizzi Growin Nomad Carrier but I've never heard of the brand. Does anyone know it? Is it safe and secure? Thanks in advance

Doesn’t answer your question (sorry 😅) but there’s a lady on Instagram called “wearmybaby” that reviews and tests the safety etc of all different carriers and I found her quite useful 🙂

I'd suggest trying them out in person if you can. Different carriers suit different people and it's pretty much impossible to know without trying. All sorts of different things can affect it like the type of waistband, cross vs H straps, the design of the shoulder straps, size of the carrier, etc. Also bear in mind that the max and min age/weight isn't always a good fit for baby, e.g. some that say from birth don't give a good fit until LO is a few months old, and if they say up to a certain age that's normally based on the max weight it's tested to, but it's normally outgrown by height much earlier. Have a look for a local sling library or there are a few online. I also wouldn't be too concerned about outward facing, personally. It's recommended not to outward face for more than about 30 mins, and never when baby is at all tired. The ability to back carry is much more useful imo, as it's less strain on you once LO is bigger and heavier.

I would definitely see if there is a local baby carrier library near you to try them out

I loved the ergo baby embrace for the first 6 months. Personally never used world facing as it hurt my back. Plus they aren’t allowed to sleep in that position and its bot safe until 4 months. I second going to a sling library if there’s one local to you.
