16 week vaccinations

How were your babies after their 16 week injections? I’m unsure what to do as my LB is just screaming and crying every time he’s awake. He had the vaccines last night at 5pm and we were at out of hours GP last night as he wouldn’t stop crying and screaming. All obs were normal but this morning he’s the same, doing my best to keep him asleep but unsure what else to do 😬 Worrying about how I’m going to change his nappy without crying/pain 😣 also feels like I’m not going to get food or drink today either haha. Please say I’m not alone cos this is awful 😭

My little one had them yesterday at 11.30am, he cried and then slept for most of the afternoon and then had a fever until about 1am, today he's fine. Have you tried calpol or nurofen?

Our daughter was so sad after hers. She had a fever still after the three doses of calpol so we have her a fourth the next day. Let her sleep as much as she wanted and we gave her a bath which perked her up. It lasted less than 24 hours x

I tried calpol but didn’t seem to do anything (other than control the fever which is good). He seems okay now just very sleepy and quick to snap into a meltdown. I’m glad it doesn’t last too long, I’m hoping to take him for a walk later to see if that cheers him up. Thanks for your comments ☺️ I have no mum friends with older kids to ask this stuff to x

The 16 week ones were the worst. She wouldn’t stop crying for a couple of days 😔 it was awful. I gave her calpol and just let her sleep as much as she wanted. It definitely disrupted her night time sleep.
