Consultant led QEUH

I’m pregnant for the 2nd time, 18weeks, but under consultant led care due to prior c section. I had my 10 week booking appt as normal and then my 12 week scan and then was told that my 16 /18 week appt would be with my consultant rather than midwife. No probs. But it’s a video call? How are they going to check my blood pressure, urine etc? Is it usual for someone under consultant care to not be seen from 10-24ish weeks at my next midwife appt?

I was consultant led and had my appointments all face to face. You could call the consultants secretary to ask to be sure but it makes more sense to have it in person? I saw the midwife before for the checks like BP etc then saw the consultant after that at the same appointment

It was the secretary who phoned me and told me it was a video call and sent me the instructions!

Is it Jane? I also was under consultant led care with her and she does a lot of video calls
