How do you keep your house from not being so awkwardly quietly without the tv on?

Radio or Spotify playing through a Google home or Alexa. 😊

We definitely have the tv on sometimes but on the days or long spells we don’t: - Spotify though Alexa - Something for toddler on toniebox - My own audiobooks on phone or alexa - i go for quite animated narrators even if the story itself doesn’t make any sense it sounds interesting for my toddler - Sound machine for naps etc And this last one not by choice - all those bloody battery operated toys 🤯

We listen to nursery rhymes and kids songs on Spotify (in Australia so we listen to a lot of play school and the wiggles)

I listen to podcasts and audiobooks work speaker or AirPods but I also like it quiet because baby gets less stimulation. I do sing A LOT for her too

White noise, radio, music. Washing literally anything. I don't get or watch tv

Baby classical music 😂 thought I’d hate it but it’s actually so relaxing haha that’s when he’s awake sometimes. Or normal radio/music. Or I sit and read when he’s sleeping x

Enya is so good !

I embrace the silence 😂

Turn on music. Sing.

Tonie box , the kids love it. The music more than the stories since they are not old enough 😊

Wait until your children walk and talk. Then it is never quiet again. If your youngest child is 2yo and your house is still quiet, get a dog. Then think about having another kid. 😆

@Bonny noooooooooo!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I laughed way too hard at this

We've got 2 dogs and my girl is walking with assistance but the mornings are too quiet. So I put the tv on. And I'm NOT going to play nursery rhymes or I'll lose my mind.

I just put the TV on 😂

Music!

you just have to learn to enjoy the peace and quiet. i think people are so used to constantly being entertained that they go nuts when it’s finally peaceful. i just start journaling, or just enjoying the sounds of what im already doing. cooking, organizing etc

Radio station on Alexa, white noise for naps, just singing, talking, sometimes calling out family and friends

Music. We never have the tv on, we don’t have live tv we only turn on at night when watching series. It’s either quiet, or everyone talking, or music.

My baby has musical toys and I put those on for her. Listen to podcasts, music, talk to my baby or I just talk out loud about everything I'm doing because my 4mo is interested in everything I do lol. Sometimes I just enjoy the quiet and it's really nice 🙂
