Hello Mamas does any one had a Fetal Echocardiogram Ultrasound for the IVF induced pregnancy at 22 weeks. My doctor suggested me to do that bcz IVF pregnancy usually has high risk heart defects and needs to be checked in 2nd trimester ?

Please respond if anyone is going or gone the this process and testing . Help is appreciated.

Hi, I have an IVF baby.. they automatically marked me as high risk but this was never mentioned to me the whole time. I had extra growth scans and consultant appointments but that was about it. It was all a fuss for nothing tbh it was a totally typical pregnancy x

@Dani Hello Dani yes yesterday my doctor told me that usually IVF pregnancy is high risk so they suggest and recommend to do this special ultrasound test to determine if baby heart has no defects when they are born or in their growing age similar to growth scans from 20 weeks. I thought of doing it bcz it’s recommended but want to know if some one did it and if everything is good for peace of mind.
