Hey! Are you planning to bring bottles in with you? Are you planning to formula feed also?

I sterilised the dummies the day I went in, then had a mini dummy steriliser and mini sterilising tablets to use once she was born (got my husband to do it whilst I was being cleaned up). If you're planning to ff, I'd take the hospital pack bottles for the hospital

Bottles are only sterile for 24 hours. A lot of hospitals do not have the facilities to sterilise so your best option would be to buy ready to feed bottles that come with teats. Or the option above^ babies drink so little for the first 3 days. My hospital also provided single use pre sterilised bottles and teats so you can always ask before you go in x

Ah okay, We didn't bother taking my Lg's mam bottles with us as a lot of hospitals don't have the facilities to sterilise them. If you want them sterilised for when you get home, you could ask someone to do it the morning of the day you go home. Also the mam ones can be sterilised in the microwave so could always do them once you're home so you have them ready. Unfortunately I think all sterilising methods are only sterile for 24/48hrs. Just checked the leaflet with ours and it says 48hrs provided they're kept how you put them in the microwave x

Maybe have them cleaned and sterilised so when you're back home you can quickly sterilise them again? I stocked up on the pre made formula with the teats and used them while we got into a routine lol

@Christina yeah I think that’s best I’m going to do them Thursday morning before I go in so that way if I’m in till Saturday they are still sterile and then I can just quickly give it a once over and plus get my practice in as I know mam bottles can be a faff on xx

That's one thing I wish I done🤣 i was clueless and down to 1 last pre made and didn't know how to put his bottles into a steriliser or how to use it lol x
