@Deb, thank you! You don’t know how good that is to read! I really hope so, they are literally home bargains pack of 3, 79p tests but I think because I’ve had good progression on them, it’s worried me, although the other 2 look good. X

I had great progression on some tests and on others, none at all! I’m now 35 weeks pregnant. I’d say progression looks good, congratulations! X

@Megan 🥹🥹 thank you so much. I’ve had 7 early miscarriages in the last 3 years, I’m absolutely terrified because I never thought I’d get my hopes up this much again but things have been so different. I’m able to have a 6 week scan at EPU from next Sunday, i’m 4+4 today & it feels a life time away, especially looking at the strip test this morning. Congratulations on your baby, not long to go! X

I have had 2 losses in 13 years, never fell pregnant in a 9 year gap, then fell pregnant in 2023, (first loss was 2013, second was twins in 2022,) and now she's 1 yrs old. Im now also pregnant again, I am 33 weeks tomorrow, and even though I've had one successful pregnancy, it's still so hard in the first 13 weeks. Just take one day at a time. I actually had a bleed at 12+ weeks with my daughter and thought I'd lost her, but it turned out to be a subchorionic haematoma, so please don't panic if you bleed. Easier said than done, but trust your body to do what's right. X

@Deb I’m so sorry to read of your miscarriages, I don’t think they’re ever something you get over but I’m very happy to read you got your rainbow & the fact you’re pregnant again! 🥹 I’m really trying I’ve been pretty positive since my first test at 8DPO but todays strip completely threw me & instantly made me suspect the worst, it’s as if the other 2 tests don’t matter, my mind instantly thinks the worst. I’m also on progesterone & have been since 9DPO & worried that, that could be masking something happening. I’m my own worst enemy but I’m trying to remain hopeful & really, really praying this is our chance. Xx

It's so easy to get lost in your thoughts. It really is. I just kept telling myself everytime I went to the toilet and there wasn't blood "I'm still pregnant" I also only tested two days the week i found out, once the following week and saved the clear blue digital for when I was 6 weeks and then stopped. That also helped me not go crazy. We also didn't do the deed until I was 13 weeks, as that's when the spotting started on our two losses. Drs reassured us it wasn't the cause, but we didn't want to take any risks. X

Your urine could have just been more diluted than other days. Try not to worry too much, though I know how hard that is.

@Taylor it was my FMU like all other days, plus I took 3 tests & track progression over all 3, 2 of which were darker & the strips lighter. I’ve posted the other pics in the comments. Xx

It can still be more or less diluted than any other days though. Yes, typically fmu is the strongest but if you’d drank more or less water than usual yesterday, used the toilet layer or earlier than usual, sweated more throughout the night etc, then it can result in changes to how diluted your fmu is.

@Deb you’re absolutely right, it’s so hard not to get carried away. I think because of the history I’ve had, I sort of expect it to try & soften the blow if the worst does happen, although it’s never any easier. What I’m trying to take each day this time round is my tests have never, ever gotten this dark, albeit some of my pregnancies have been slighter further along by a matter of a week or 2, they’ve never been this dark or progressed this much consistently. It’s unbelievable that I’d of been absolutely fine today, had I not of done the strip test, so the rest I’ve put in the bin for that reason. I’ve got 1 last digital to take, I’ve had my 1-2 & then my 2-3, based on the HCG levels on the online instructions, I should get a 3+ on Wednesday of next week at 23DPO but I might wait till the Friday to be safe, that’s basing levels on the lowest end of the spectrum. I’ve also not done the deed & wont be until I feel comfortable but hubby is more than okay with that. Xx

@Taylor oh yea I get that but if that was the case, you’d expect the other 2 tests that I’ve taken to reflect in the same way which they haven’t, they’ve progressed, yet the strip is lighter, baring in mind I use the same pot of wee for all 3 tests daily. X

@Taylor however now that you’ve mentioned this, I’ve not stopped thinking about it & my fmu looked a much darker, less diluted colour yesterday than this mornings. So I suppose the strip test may be a little slower at progressing when it gets to a certain point. Thank you so much! Xx
