Florida First Birthday ideas!

It’s going to be a cold one for my son’s first birthday this weekend. We were going to do Disney. Do you think it’ll be comfortable in the 60s there for a baby? Any other ideas for first birthdays in Tampa area? OPEN TO ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS 🙏😅

Do you intend to have a lot of family present? And are you considering catering?

Babies typically lose heat faster than adults. Due to the length of time you may be at Disney, isn’t the best idea. I had a family get together and did a photo opt, and it was fun! We did “first trip around the sun” pretty easy to DIY some decor for that. We built a rocket ship out of cardboard. It turned out pretty cute. For food, we asked everyone to bring an item like a potluck to save us time and energy. Hope it works out!

@Kayla no we really didn’t want to do an actual party we wanted to go somewhere but have no idea where to go besides Disney it’s way too short notice now to start planning a party… also we don’t want that lol

@Nicky thank you! I just checked out their recent post. They have a ton of indoor places 👍🩵

Oh, we just did the science center. Maybe a soft play gym? They have birthday party packages

@Hailey we’re not really into it to have a full party or anything like that. We did a cake smash shoot for him. But we’re hoping to go out somewhere with him. That’s why we thought Disney would be great. But this cold has been intense!

60s would be too cold for me! I’m sure baby will be too cold too. First birthdays we always just do a family party. What about an aquarium?

@Tatyana have you tried a ball pit like fun zone I’d have to go back thru my places saved but could be a better alternative it’s inside

The Florida Aquarium could be fun! And then maybe postpone Disney for a week or so.

Horsepower for Kids , Old McMicky’s Farm, Dinosaur World are all in Tampa. You could also do a weekend trip to Legoland or Great Wolf Lodge in Naples
