I went to Florida with my 3 month old in September. On the way the airport we had baby on knee with seatbelt over me and him. Its legal to have baby on lap in taxis only. We hired a car and a car seat once we got to Florida to make it easier. However, if you do get ubers there some of them dont have car seats suitable and if they dont some of them aren’t happy to travel without one. I would recommend getting a hire car to prevent it as i was stuck once in a storm and about 4 ubers kept cancelling, they aren’t reliable & if you’re doing any parks etc its hard to lug a car seat around all day xx
Legal in the UK, although not safe to not use a car seat. Not sure about law in US. The safest option is to take a seat with you, use it on the plane and in ubers or whatever whilst you're there. Obviously more hassle though
Car seats are required for children under 3 in Florida. You can always look into baby equipment rentals in Florida if you choose not to travel with one
Hey we are also off to Florida in August. We are getting a private transfer to the airport and they will keep our car seat with them. When we get to Florida Uber’s have car seats which we will be using. Although youll have to wait longer for them and they do cost more. Under 2’s do have to have a car seat x
