My three year old is technically fully trained she just chooses not to. I HAVE to constantly check her bottom because she does not care if she pees her pants sometimes. Once that happens it’s like a month of not using the potty right.
Im in the same boat with my daughter. I put training undies on that are a little thicker but she still pees in them like it doesn't bother her at all. We try rewarding her if she goes and make a big deal about it but it's like she isn't emptying her bladder and sometimes she cries so much when we put her on the potty. And since we moved it's like she regressed and is scared of the new potty.
From joining potty training fb groups and hearing from other parents, you're not alone. I think we need a 3 and potty training emotional support group😅 my daughter does pee for the most part but nearly never goes or says she needs to go without prompting. And pooping well that's its own struggle. Its frustrating but I think showing them we are aggravated only causes more issues. Everyone seems to say one day it clicks but I always worry I am adding to the problem since I can't seem to find incentives that help everything "click"
I'm in the same boat. My son refuses to use the potty, but I know he can do it as he has in the past. He's just very stubborn and distracted and refuses to go now. I'm at a loss right now and I'm not sure what to do anymore. I've tried underwear, just having him go naked, I've tried prizes, stickers, etc. I'm not sure what to try anymore.
