Put everything and anything you may want/need. People will get you what they feel is necessary but don’t feel guilty about what you put on there something that may work for you may not be someone else’s cup of tea
@Keisha lol thank youuuu!! I will now that you mention it.
@Sam I have but I also don’t want to skip out on something that may be important
You will 100% need a tummy time gym, open play mat, water mat (for tummy time), diaperssssssssss (just got straight to size 1 but if you got storage space in your house I would put different sizes, later: bouncer, upseat, couple focus toys for training, and a walker My son is 6 months old, and this all he really uses daily
Whatever you feel is needed for the baby, most importantly you’ll need diapers and wipes, bottles are a must if you plan to bottle feed, baby bathtub, thermometer, nasal aspirator, changing pad, baby diaper bag etc. People will purchase whatever you may add to it.
Nursing pillow! Even if your not breast feeding. I had a csection and this pillow ended up seriously saving me when i was in pain. https://a.co/d/fPdsLg4
Oh bottle warmer! Colic bottles (going to be honest, you will change these a lot until you find what works, so put different brands) I'll be back if I think of anything else lmao
Mannnn yall really came through I appreciate yall 🫶🏽
Put things that if duplicated it’s fine. Baby soap, lotions, diapers, wipes, onesies. And also things that are helpful but not needed
Put different baby soaps also. My LO needed to change soaps twice cause of reactions. You don't know what will work with your LO
Put whatever you like and want. If you do amazon you have up to 1 year to return things and the gifter will not be notified. You get a gift card to use on amazon for things as you need them
Make sure to sign up for all the diaper companies! They often have rewards programs and have coupons on their apps. Pampers has a rewards app and when you scan the diapers you buy (there's a special code in the packages) it gives you money back towards coupons. Also see if there's a buy nothing group for your area. I had my 3rd baby in October and I got his bassinet, doona stroller, clothes from size 0-12 months, diapers, wipes and a bunch of other baby stuff for free from my community members!
Also amazon registry is probably the best place to make one. A little before your due date they'll give you a 15% completion coupon that you can apply to purchases on your registy. My coupon just expired last week. So it was good from September to January and I was able to get a bunch of stuff and had unlimited use of the 15% off coupon
I would say top 3 are diapers, wipes, and gift cards. Maybe a little basic/ boring but those things are bound to be needed anyway, better that IMO than to get some frilly something that will get used barely/ not at all

I used babylist and I loved it because you can put all different brands and it guides you through the categories- I was very surprised by random people coming out of the woodwork and getting us expensive things like our crib, highchair etc. so be sure to have things in all price ranges- under $20, under $100 and $100+. Also put things for when they hit those stages because you can’t come back later and ask for the high chair and dishes in 9 months!!
Pampers(All different sizes), wipes, black and white contrast book/ toys, teething toys , bibs , car seat cover, bottles , Thermometer , infant Tylenol ,baby monitor, swaddle blanket, bottle cleaning brush, crib sheet , baby carrier , reviving blanket
Puppy peed pads for diaper changes!!!
Baby Tylenol and I use baby wash cloths alot for wiping my babies face and hands
Aquaphor for diaper rash. Diaper rash cream didn’t work for my baby but baby Vaseline and aquaphor was better
Dr brown bottles leak😭😭 you gotta try different bottles some leak some don’t. Also glass is better but some have lead paint so google what brands are safe
Pump flange inserts if you wanna pump. I get only 2 oz with the standard 24 mm and I get 5 oz with my correct size
Don’t buy too much newborn Clothes they outgrow it fast but buy bigger sizes like 3-6 and 6-9
I would suggest getting a monitor for the days your baby is asleep, your home alone and you need to run to the bathroom
Diapers (all sizes) wipes, onesies like plain white ones(all sizes) (use as shirts or undershirts) body wash, diaper cream put things you could use multiples of
Cloth diapers and Calmoseptine Ointment (this is for when baby gets a rash)
Congratulations, gorgeous! Idk girl but make sure you put like 20 A&D ointments on there bc price be fluctuating crazy
