Digitals need more HCG to detect pregnancy. Might be worth going to the drs for bloods xx

Have you had a period yet, other than the bleeding from your mc? And do you take ovulation test? Asking because it's not super likely to get pregnant so soon after and if you haven't gotten your period yet its way more likely it's still picking up your mc hcg, with my 20 week mc I had positive test for 2 weeks after.

@Kamryn🇲🇽 you can get pregnant two weeks after a missed miscarriage you don’t necessarily need to bleed and often people ovulate earlier after a miscarriage

@Danielle that's definitely not what I was implying. You usually ovulate every 3-4 weeks depending on your cycle....

@Danielle of course none of our bodies are the same, but I was told by a fertility specialist that it's possible but it's not extremely common. They also said that ovulation can be delayed because hormonal changes.

@Kamryn🇲🇽 no period yet, and yes I’ve done ovulation test but it’s saying I’m positive (assuming that will be because of the hcg lingering) x

I was still testing positive 3 weeks after d&c so went back to EPU and I had restrained products! It’s worth getting checked out x

I’d get yourself checked over. HCG still being present at 3 weeks can be indicative of retained products which can lead to infection

@Chloe ya usually you will get a (false positive) if you are pregnant or recently were on ovulation test. I would just go in to get checked they will most likely give you an ultrasound to see if everything naturally cleared (from my experiences.) but hey there is always that low percentage you could be pregnant and it would also be good to get checked. I'm so sorry you are going through this I know it's not easy ❤️‍🩹

Hey x sorry for your loss❤️. Completely agree with people here about checking for retained products. If it’s helpful, after my d&c (after retained product) I rang my epu after 3 weeks and asked if it mattered what test I used, whether a sensitive or normal, and the nurse said a normal one is fine, that’s the ones they hand out to test with. Got a negative but it still took 4 months for my body to get back to normal (regular periods) and got pregnant again on the 5th month. Sending love in this difficult time xx
