Yes! Our pediatric dentist encourages a visit at the first tooth. So, he’s already been there twice and has 16 teeth. It was great. They checked him, brushed his teeth and gave him a fluoride treatment.
My son was a late bloomer with the teeth, but his top teeth have now come in and it’s time to make an appointment. Unfortunately he hates the doctors office so I am worried he’s going to be very upset at the dentist office!

Our appointment is scheduled for March. Baby hates when we poke inside her mouth so I can see it not going so well
16 and 18 teeth?! My baby has 2 and 1 breaking through. My 4 year old does not like the dentist, she always tells them "I'm fine" and closes her mouth. I really hope the baby will be more cooperative.

They said it was fien and to just use a tooth wipe or tooth brush to clean his teeth but so far so good
I took him to a family dentist when he had about 6 teeth and she basically just looked in his mouth and answered a few questions I had. Then I had my cleaning. I’ve been told I need to take him to a pediatric dentist to get them to actually clean his teeth. I’m nervous about it because he HATES me brushing his teeth. Screams bloody murder and has started to try to close his mouth to keep me out.
Yes, we went about three days ago and took him to a pediatric dentist. However, we decided to decline the fluoride cleaning. Instead, the dentist removed the calcium, which I thought was plaque, off his teeth with a scaler. He cried a little, but it was completely worth the visit as his teeth are nnow so clean
Easy just checked teeth did a quick “clean” and left lol
