Kendamil and MAM bottles

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone else has come across the problem that we're having... we use Kendamil and MAM bottles, and I'm finding that no matter which way we make the bottles up the powder is still clogging the teat like it's not dissolving properly - even when making with boiling water from the kettle. Could it be that I'm making them up, and when they're cooled, they're sort of curdling? I don't get it. I used a prep machine with my first and never had a problem, used it this time round, and it doesn't dissolve properly etc. Even when using the kettle the first time, I never had this problem. What am I doing wrong?! Do I get a kettle in my bedroom and make them fresh every time? It's so frustrating! X

From my personal experience this has happened to me when I add the powder hot or cold, and I shake it straight up into the teat. Instead of doing this try swirling it in circles until the powder has sunk into the water, then give it a good shake. This solved the problem for me x

I use formula and I never shake the bottle after the hot shot. I also swirl the bottle round and round which stops any thing getting to the teat

@Karlie Yep I do swirl round I always have done but still seems to be happening. I wash everything properly, sterilise and then make the bottles up as you're supposed to ??? It's baffling me lol xx

There’s a handy group on Facebook called Kendamums that has some posts on about this x
