I have a low tolerance to pain. It’s not painful, just feels unpleasant. It’s nothing like a membrane sweep when you’re pregnant 😭 that’s more painful
Bit uncomfortable but a bit of discomfort is nothing compared to possibly having an issue go unnoticed x
It's quick and a little uncomfortable. It doesn't stand close to giving birth 🙌🤣
Just a bit uncomfortable. I had my first one before I had a baby and it freaked me out. Now that I've had a baby I'm like "this is a piece of cake!"
I found it to be the same as a sweep, I was dreading it if I’m honest it was the first smear I’ve had and I was only 3 months PP. It was nothing!
I was so embarrassed lying there with my legs spread and the brightest light I’ve ever seen shining up there 🤦 but it was over in a few minutes and she was lovely! I’m due my next one soon, not very dignifying but they see it all the time x
SOOO I WENT FOR A REGULAR BABY CHECK UP and last min was told ima be getting a pap smear. mind u i didn’t really know much of what it was…. so now im stripped down butt booty cheeks naked in jus they lol gowns sitting on the table like idek wtf to expect but i’m not happy. THEN SHE STICKING HER FINGERS UP INSIDE ME “i’m just checking” MISS MAMMMM WHAT she then goes you gonna feel a lil pressure if it hurts let me know. and this thing was inserted into my coochie and it felt like my walls were being tugged on! like nah it was so uncomfortable then she’s like digging in there for gold with her lil swab thing and im like what are we doing now she’s like it’s just to swab for any stds. like no shit why is this so uncomfortable tho. and she then takes the clamp thing back out my coochie was sore the rest of the day … overall experience 4/10. more uncomfortable than painful but def sum you wanna be made known abt before u get one done.
