I did have a private early scan at 7 weeks and everything was good, however I am still VERY anxious and nervous for my 12 week scan so I really do understand how you feel. Sending you lots of love and positivity!

I haven't had a scan yet but I'm only 9+4 due on 28th Aug. My scan is on 17th Feb. It's a horrible time waiting for the 1st scan x
I had an early one for peace of mind and it was worth every penny. If it’s going to calm your nerves I’d say book a private one. x
I had my 12 week scan last Thursday, was actually 13+1 when I had it. I rang and queried this and she said it was okay, you can have your 12 week scan upto 14 weeks x
I had my first scan at 12+1 which was my nhs dating scan. I was nervous yes, but I just told myself I haven't had any negative signs yet, no bleeding etc so stayed positive and my scan was an absolute dream and so wholesome. Worth waiting for imo xx
I’ve had private scans at 6,8 and 10 weeks. I did the same with my daughter (last pregnancy). I just think something about seeing the baby developing is very reassuring. I do have terrible anxiety in pregnancy, so for me it felt necessary x
I had a private scan at 9weeks 4 days and I have my 12 week scan on the 3rd Feb. I’m sooo nervous

I had to cave and buy an early scan last week, even though my nhs one was today🙈 both went well but was so worried something wasn’t right last week xx
It will be perfectly fine! ♥️ our little bubba was even waving at us in the scan 🥹
I haven’t had mine yet, it’s booked for the 3rd Feb, I’ll be 14+2 so a little later than I would have liked, I haven’t booked a private scan either
I had one at 6+5 and saw a heartbeat, and another at 10w. These were early reassurance scans in the NHS! (One because of pain and spotting, the other because I was in a car accident!) Some early pregnancy units can offer reassurance scans, it’s worth contacting your local hospitals to find out, if not a private early scans are quite affordable x
Yes, I have a very late scan which will be when I am 13 weeks on 19th feb. It's a shame and annoying but what can we do

My 12 week scan is the same day as yours, I’m still guessing I’m around 10 weeks today, but have no idea really, and hardly any symptoms. I’m sure everything will be ok, just try to keep busy so you don’t keep thinking too much about it and in no time you will have your scan xx
I’ve had 2 early scans due to bleeding and my last one on the 30th December I saw the heart beat and the drs said everything looks health and fine. My 12 week scan is tomorrow and I’m so scared to. I want to get to the point where I’m excited but I keep thinking something going to go wrong. Sending positive vibes your way and hope everything goes okay!🤞🏻
@Beck please let me know how it is tomorrow, I started bleeding this weekend too and they can’t book me in for a scan till next week I’ve spent the whole time panicking, everyone says it will be fine cuz I haven’t got pain but the waiting feels like ages xx
