Potty Training

Following.... I'm lost as hell

I didn’t really follow any videos so can’t advise there, but for potty’s I used the following: One that looks like a toilet 🚽 this was in the upstairs toilet first. I’d encourage her to sit on it before bathtime and encourage her to wee. Started doing that months before actually starting potty training. Foldable travel potty. No idea on the brand but can get on Amazon. Hers has a penguin face on. This is great for taking in the car or going in the shops. Steps with toilet seat attachment. This is for the downstairs toilet. Got her used to this after we had started toilet training properly. Tips. Encourage but don’t pressure. Ask every 20 mins or so if they need to go to the toilet after eating/drinking

Straws or whistles are good for them to blow whilst sat on the toilet as it can relax muscles to help go. Get some puppy pads to cover things like sofa/car seat in the early stages. I did mine in the summer so was easier to go naked. You can get training pants on Amazon. Which are a bit thicker and have an absorbent layer. I wouldn’t rush if your child is not ready. There is still plenty of time to learn 🙂

I used a toilet seat for our toilet instead of a potty so I didn't have to clean it. For out and abiut we use a carry potty
