Transitioning to cows milk

Hey everybody, just wondering how everybody has found transitioning their little ones to cows milk? I’m struggling to know where to start as there are so many different options. My little boy currently has two 10oz bottles of formula a day, one in the morning and one before bed. Any advice would be appreciated xx

I think it depends on the child. Some people mix with formula gradually oz by oz . I was able to just give him a full bottle of Cows milk, but he still has formula in the night because I’m still trying to figure out if hes hungry or thirsty

I started off by doing half formula and half cows milk, then for a couple days added less and less formula, to more cows milk. After a few days saw he was fine with it and didn’t give him a bad tummy or anything so I just cut out the formula all together I did notice he didn’t like it cold tho, so do have to warm it up a bit x

I just did cows milk in the morning and through the day and did formula at night just because that was his confront and now he only has cows milk x

I tried giving just cows milk but after a few days she got constipated so have ended up adding 1oz of cows milk into formula and adding an extra oz after a couple days, seems to be working so far x

Thanks for the advice ladies! 🥰

I started off doing 3/4 formula and 1/4 cows milk for two days, then did half and half and then two days later was able to just do cows milk. Every baby is different but most babies to tend to prefer cows milk to formula so it shouldn't be too hard! My 13 month old has two 10oz bottles too, but both of his are in the evening (one before bed, one he wakes up for at 10pm)

I just went in cold turkey. He has 3 bottles a day and I started with the morning feed. He took the bottle out of his mouth first and then once I didn’t react he continued to drink it. I warmed it in a pan and we had no problems at all. I kept an eye on his poop and he was fine
