Travelling with a baby and toddler

We’ll be flying to Tenerife in June with our 2 boys who will be 2.5 years and 10 months. We want to have a compact pram to use for both of them in the airport and for naps while there. Have people found it better to take a double or 2 single prams? And if so any recommendations? We do have 1 Joie Signature buggy already, but wondering if getting a double would be easier than getting another single pram. And if there are even any double buggies that are cabin approved?

Ooh following! We're going end of April and have this same question but will be 2.5 years and 5 months

I’ve always taken a double I find it less risky than taking two because what if one kid is being fussy and needs carrying - then one parent has to hold the child as well as push a buggy That was my way of thinking 😅 We have the joie aire and it’s fine xx

And we are also going to Tenerife in June 🥰

I didn’t want to take our fairly new double buggy on our trip to Amsterdam in a few weeks so I’m hiring out the babyzen yoyo twin set up with connector from this website https://tinyexplorers.co.uk/product/twin-babyzen-yoyo-setup-with-connectors/

Apparently the twin set up comes with the hold bag so no need to add this when selecting accessories (if you plan to check it in of course)

@Laura that’s a very good point!😄 with the Joie Aire do you have to check it in with your cases or can you take it as cabin luggage?

@Rachel it’ll have to be checked in, it’s too big to go in the cabin xx
