We really enjoyed messy play and little explorers at Ladywell and like the stay and play at Clyde Family hub too https://www.lewishamcfc.org.uk/timetable/
We also often go to soft play at Wavelengths, bit run down but a steal at £2.30 for under 2s. https://www.better.org.uk/leisure-centre/london/lewisham/wavelengths-leisure-centre/play-wavelengths-leisure-centre We also do swimming lessons there. There’s rhyme time at Deptford library https://deptfordlounge.org.uk/whats-on/event/under-5s-rhymes-and-stories/#:~:text=Join%20us%20every%20Saturday%20at,We%20WILL%20expect%20dancing.
Then some stuff slightly further afield, although more just stuff to do than groups/stay and play so I guess it depends if you want more groups/places to meet people or just things to do - Lovely play space at Mudlarks at London Docklands museum - Mudchute farm and the play park at island gardens is good too - free - Tate modern play area on the ground floor, plus always good for a quick look around the galleries - free (and direct train from Deptford to Blackfriars) - Greenwich the two play parks in Greenwich park are brilliant, Hilly Fields Park is great too - we haven’t been to Tots in London yet, as I was waiting for ours to learn to walk (and he took his time!) but everyone rates it - Apple Tree Cafe in Peckham, a bit pricey but lovely - Horniman Museum, can get the overground from New Cross/Brockley. The Aquarium has a small charge and is small but nice, small petting zoo (free) and nice gardens
Thank you so much for all these resources ever so helpful
Me and a friend went to the Tots in London café today and it's really lovely really well priced @Rebekah
@Cuba ahh great, I will try and get there soon! I only have one weekday off with my LO now so not as much time to fit things in
We are in New Cross so just down road from Deptford and there is Besson street community gardens which has a free playgroup mon tues and Friday which is really nice with story time, songs big outdoor play area. Then telegraph hill has a free playgroup every morning mon to Saturday
