Is anyone actually not dreading going back to work?
I think it’s so shitty that the gov will fund childcare from 9 months but not match that funding to give us the choice to stay with our babies for a bit longer. Makes me feel so upset as I know no one is going to be able to look after my little boy as well as I can just because I know him better than anyone. Just a rant

And statutory mat pay is less than half of minimum wage! Disgusting!

Agree with this rant. It's awful we live in times and culture that prioritises work over family 😔 Even if you could afford to stay hime those crucial 3 years how would your future career look like 😠 just painful really 😫
