Anterior Placenta?

Hey guys! I have never had my OB or any techs mention to me what kind of placenta I have. Just wanting to get everyone's opinions on what they think I may have?

If they didn’t say anything it’s probably a regular placenta.

@Destiny that’s what I was thinking, but some girls were saying their OB randomly told them in the middle of their pregnancy so it got me wondering haha

@Gabby everybody’s pregnancy isn’t the same and things can change as you progress. Maybe talk to your ob abd stress your concern

Nobody has ever told me but it’s in my notes after a scan. Anterior is also normal. There are medical conditions that cause concern, like placenta previa, but having anterior/posterior etc is all very normal.

I scoured my notes and I have NOTHING. Ugh 😪 and I know! I just wanted to see how long it would take for me to feel baby kicks since if placenta is anterior it can take a lot longer to feel

I had an anterior placenta last pregnancy it was around 18 weeks when I felt what I thought was kicks and at least 22/23 weeks before I was for sure but it definitely dampens the sensation a bit when you have an anterior placenta. It was also harder for other people to feel kicks

@Kayla yes this is what im afraid I have. Out of 3 of my pregnant friends all have anterior placenta so I’d be the fourth one!! I just want to feel those kicks alreadyyyy
